Comments: This resource is a great site for any teacher wanting to get ideas for design challenges, science investigations and inquiry activities. It is mainly foucs around the K-6. The first part of the website gives teachers quickplans to help engage students in science and technology and the second part gives teacher heaps of other websites they can use to come up with more ideas.

Comments: This website consists of NASA exploring space challenges. It gives teachers an overview of the challenges and students can register and post their completed work to the website. It is a national program providing a compilation of investigations and design challenges for all grade levels in the primary and secondary schools. NASA ESC supports many of the national education standards for science, mathematics, technology and the arts.

Comments: This is a great website for students and teachers. It has a range of ivestigations and challenges that students can do. In each ivestigation or challenge it explains to the students what they asked, what kind of expeirments they did and hwat they found out. It then gives the chidren projects to try around the subject.

The website consist of information about the national science and technology centre and also has information that children and teens can use. It is a useful site for teacher if they were interested in taking their students there

Students can take on the challenges of building big, explore our databank of big structures, investigate big structures near you and find out what's cool about being an engineer. It has simple steps and is easy to follow and read.

Comments: This is an exceleent website for teachers who are doing a unit on space it has desgin challenges from years 4 to year 8. The design challenges are inquiry-based developed to inspires young people to achieve academic excellence in science, math and technology. They require young people to use creative problem solving, critical-thinking skills and teamwork to find solutions to real challenges encountered by people living and working in space.
